The ladies were brilliant with my elderly cat. They handled her so gently and were very quick and professional with the clippers. I would very much recommend this business

Elaine is an Angel!! I took my beautiful white bunny to Elaine as he had some nasty mats - it was really getting me down as I’d already taken him to the vets who were unhelpful and told me to wash the mats out, which only made things worse! Elaine was really lovely with him and now beautiful Glen looks a million dollars again. Thank you so much xx My Mum takes her toy poodle here and I’ve taken my fluffy cat in the past and they do a wonderful job

After a bad experience at pets at home, I have struggled to find a place where my pooch won't attack anyone while having his nails trimmed. Thankfully, and at last he did not attack anyone, his nails were done in a flash and he was very comfortable the whole time. Not only did I finally find a place where they treat him nice, they left him so handsome. I will definitely come back again, thanks to the staff who took care of him and make him look handsome.

I took my 3 year old Swedish Vallhund and 18 week old Clumber Spaniel on 02.08.22. Everyone was so friendly and loved the dogs. The dogs were so relaxed when I came to pick them up. Thank you very much Hair Of The Dog 😊

Had the most horrible experience. I went to pick my boy up and he seemed out of sorts. When I got him home I could see that his face was a mess and he couldn’t open one of his eyes. I was shocked to see they had cut his eyelashes completely off one eye. My poor boy was anxious and clingy all day and then to top it all when I checked my email I noticed I was quoted £27 but charged £40. All round dreadful experience.

Would recommend the Team at Hair of the Dog to anyone! The friendliness of the staff and knowing that your furkid is going to be left in good hands is always reassuring. Not only do they take on board your requests for the desired result, they also always have a host of hints and tips about animal husbandry which, whilst not a vet view on things, is always good to learn from. Recently, our dog needed a medicated shampoo treatment and they were more than happy to do the weekly treatment whilst he was booked in with them. The dogs there always seem happy with the staff too! For us it is lovely to have such an amazing groomer so close to home. Keep doing what you are doing guys!! It is much appreciated!!

I am very happy with service here and feel my dog gets well looked after. The cut is good and will keep using Hair of the Dog. No complaints at all, cant say my dog likes it but he wouldn't like it anywhere but this is the best groomers I have found. Many thanks to all the staff I now have well groomed Milo.

My two cocker spaniels have been going here every 6 weeks for 7 years. They always love going and come back looking very smart and smelling very clean! The staff are fantastic and even my very nervous, almost neurotic dog always comes back happy! Would highly recommend.

My Labradoodle was groomed this week. It was the second time she has been there. The first experience was fantastic and the groom was very good and this prompted me to go back. However on this occasion her coat looks like it has been hacked about by a complete amateur leaving her with some bald patches on her chest. When I mentioned it to the staff, the response was I will write it on her card!! I will not be returning to the establishment in the future.

I have a young and very mad springer spaniel who had gotten VERY muddy and smelly on his recent runs in the field. I had tried to bath him myself with little success. He has just come back from his first ever visit to a dog groomers, Hair Of The Dog and I am seriously impressed. They have done a wonderful job. He is clean, smells lovely and has been clipped so that he should be so much easier to clean up after his next run in the field. I had reservations about whether he would actually let them do much to him but apparently he was well behaved. I will definitely be using Hair Of The Dog again. Would thoroughly recommend.
