Always lovely visits, know how to keep my cat calm and reduces my anxiety too. Staff are beyond amazing esp the admin staff

Very pleased with the way my pets were treated by the vets that tended to them,My family also take their pets to Harrisons Family Vets.There is a pet plan that you can join with really good benefits.

Very poor and extremely incompetent and unprofessional service from Harrison’s vet such and I do not recommend them. I formally referred them to their professional regulator, namely, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, as they whitewash complaints and do not investigate them fairly, impartially, competently or properly and exonerate themselves. I do not trust them with my dog and am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with them.

I have a very large breed dog that even though he hadn't done anything wrong our previous vet was scared of. Hes a rescue so needs lots of time, patience and encouragement. After a bad experience at our previous vets we decided to change to a no fear vet and found Harrisons. He had his 1st visit this week and came out with his tail wagging. There was no pressure and he was made to feel completely comfortable. I can't recommend enough, if you have a fearful dog

Superb vet clinic. Truly caring and highly professional vets work here (Yvette and Paul)! Kayla is a friendly and efficient receptionist. My cat was previously treated by another vet practise in Woodley who were awful. The change was the best thing I did. I just wish I had been with Harrington’s before when my cat fell ill. They spent time getting to know my cat. Making her feel relaxed. Yvette even played piano music and gave her treats! The vets explain everything very clearly. They have WhatsApp, making contact so much easier. Harrington’s are an outstanding veterinary practise with such wonderful staff. Completely faultless. The reception is very clean and has a fresh feeling. It’s a great lay out, again to help relax your beloved pets. (Pic attached) I highly recommend Harrington’s they’re the best!

Such friendly and caring staff. I recently let them know that my cat had been hit by a car and sadly died (I didn’t want any routine reminders) and a few days later I received a lovely plant with their condolences. I’m so touched and really appreciate the care you gave our gorgeous cat when you saw him. Thank you

An exemplary veterinary practice. Everything you could hope for and more. Unfortunately, we only discovered this practice in what turned out to be our beloved cat's final days, and sadly, due to the disrespect shown to her by our previous vet. I only wish we could have gone there sooner. The vet assigned to us was Mark. A dedicated, highly professional vet and a good, kind man. He looked after us. My cat was relaxed and comfortable in his presence. Everything was explained to us in great detail, and when it came time to euthanize our beloved friend, it couldn't have been handled with greater sensitivity. My beautiful girl slipped away peacefully, in my arms. We were given ample time both before and after the procedure to prepare and to grieve. There was no rush. Our pet's needs were paramount. Harrison's Family Vets, Reading helped us to feel completely supported throughout the entire process. Hayley was another highly professional member of staff, as was Stef, whom we had met a few days previously. All in all, it's a lovely practice. I don't know if we will ever feel ready to have another pet. However, if we do, we will definitely return here. Incredible service from start to finish. Thank you for all you did for my beautiful cat. Her final moments were handled with great skill and immense dedication from the staff at the practice. All the very best to you all. ***UPDATE*** This morning, I received a beautiful orchid delivered by Vendela Rose Floral Design florist. Attached was a lovely card which said everyone at Harrison Family Vets was sorry for our loss and thinking of us at this time. I was very moved by such a kind and heartfelt gesture. Thank you so much. Even after my dear cat's passing, you still care. A wonderful veterinary practice.

Such friendly staff. We moved down from Manchester and immediately transferred our dog over to the Reading branch as we just love Harrison’s so much. Our Dog feels so comfortable and never ever has any anxiety, he plays with toys and gets lots of fuss. The pet plan is also great!!

Wow what a great place so friendly as soon as you walk in you are greeted and asked how they can help, took my 11 yr old Jack Russell here after going to another vet, we were told all the details that the other vet did not even mention that they needed to operate straight away, life or death, she had her op and is now on recovery road, took out the Wellness Plan which saves so much money over the year, A Shout Out To Ana, Steph, Annemarie, & Emma. will tell all my friends where to get great pet treatment
